Fenomenal Geil

23 April 2008

After a long trip of eight hours in our fully loaded Chevy Van we arrived at “Friends”, Hörbranz – Austria.

Seeing Mario and his crew again was great. We were welcomed as true friends. Also Ron’s studymate and guitarist Gary arrived a little later.

After setting up our gear and the soundcheck we had a great meal with a good piece of meat, served by Mario’s ever smiling crew.

At around 21:30 hours we kicked off with 2 sets of Goofy grooves and Regular love songs.

Gary played some songs with us later that night and had an awesome guitar duel with Ron which was their way of catching up. Great but didn’t gave us a winner. Amazing f*cking playing Gary! Thanks!

The audience was inspireing, enjoying and we all had a superb night.

Mario: “Fenomenal Geil” :)

Then after a beer and a little relaxing the time came to break up again and drive on to the next address… St. Anton. There we had a short night of 4 hours to get ready for an amazing day of snowboarding. “Steep slopes, well prepared and the fresh snow was blinding” In the apres ski we jammed in the hotel till late every night

We came back home satisfied with 4 new songs to work on….

    Hi Ron,

it was pleasure for me jamming with you guys and seeing you again. the students of mine were really shocked by your guitar playing! Thank god your school is in Holland and not in Bregenz/Lindau – I probably might have a roblem in getting students ;-)

It’s so great to know, that you like our CD. It means a lot to me!!!!
Thanks for your support with giging in Holland. We’re looking forward to play there!

Your gig was great, people really loved it. They came up to me and said like: thanks for that tip, tell me, if the play again.
This was the best of your gigs played here, really groovy and blasting.

I asked our booker/promoter, but he can’t do the job. I would suggest, that you maybe play in Lindau at the “Isle of Music” 2009. It’s at the end of April, every year. I can do Promo for that event! there is a City festival in my town, too. As I know, the guy who’s the head of organisation is a big blues fan – I know, you’re not a bluesband – but maybe I can sell you that way. But it’s all done for that year, we talk about 2009…

The student who was with me (the tall guy with long hairs) explained to me what your band’s name is all about. He is a snowboard teacher… ;-)) cool idea!!!!

    Take care,

    Gary
